Gaza, ALRAY - A new batch of the families of the Gaza Strip’s prisoners left the strip on Monday at dawn to visit their sons in the Israeli occupation jails, via the Beit Hanoun/Eretz crossing, north of the beleaguered enclave.

Spokeswoman for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Gaza, Suhair Zakout reported that 18 citizens, including 5 children under the age of 5, of the Gaza Strip’s families departed the strip to visit 11 prisoners in the Israeli jail of Ramon.

It is noteworthy that approximately 6500 Palestinian prisoners, including 500 prisoners from Gaza are incarcerated in the Israeli jails amid very difficult detention conditions.
