In addition, the IOF erected military checkpoints on entrances to Sa'ir and Halhul towns, Fawwar refugee camp, and on Hebron’s southern and northern entrances. Moreover, it stopped the citizens’ vehicles and made searches through them, which hinders the movement of people there.
The sources added that the IOF closed El Laban School’s entrances, south of Nablus, and fired tear gas canisters towards its students and their parents, which led to dozens of suffocations.
It pointed out that IOF issued a decision of shutting down the school as of today until a further notice under the pretext of throwing stones towards the Israeli soldiers.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
