Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) waged at daybreak of Monday a wide-scale campaign of arrests across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities and Jerusalem, mainly in Ramallah, during which the forces detained 21 Palestinians.
local sources reported that the IOF broke into several neighborhoods of the city of Ramallah and detained 8 Palestinians named as Ramiz Hamed, ex-prisoner Loay Fares, Yousef Al Deek, Mujahid al-Shani, Muhammed al-Rimawi, Firas Sahwil, Abdul Rahman Tabtab, and Salah Bazar.
The sources added that the IOF detained youths Ahmad Nazzal and Mohammed Khuzaimia from Qabatiya town, south of the city of Jenin, while being passed across the al-Container military checkpoint, east of Bethlehem.
The sources added that the forces detained teen Ameen Jibrin, 15, at the entrance of Teko, east of the city of Bethlehem.
As of occupied Jerusalem, the IOF detained Wesam Rabee, Hashim Hamedan, Omar Abu Sneineh and Muhammad Sharifa.
Also, the IOF detained from Jerusalem’s Silwan town Tawfik Othman, Abdel Rahim al-Abbasi, Nidal Natsheh, Tarek al-Abbasi, Majd al-Awar, and Mahmoud al-Awar.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
