Gaza, ALRAY - Israeli occupation authorities announced closing Kerem Shalom crossing to the southern east of Gaza strip next Thursday under the pretext of carrying out maintenance work.
The head of the Coordination Committee for goods entry, Raed Fattouh said Monday, that Kerem Shalom crossing will operate partially on Thursday, as it will be closed at 9:30 am due to maintenance work on the Israeli side.
He notted that the crossing will re-open normally next Sunday.
Kerem Shalom crossing is the lonely commercial crossing for Gaza strip since 20087, when Israeli occupation imposed a tight siege on the strip and closed all its crossing.
Israel closes the crossing from time to another intentionally under fake pretext, noting that it operates just five days a week.
