Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained on Monday at daybreak eight Palestinian citizens during multiple raids across the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
The IOF said in a statement that the forces detained eight people on suspicion of being participated in popular resistance activities against its forces and settlers.
Local sources reported that the IOF broke into Kafr Malik town northeastern the Ramallah city in the northern occupied West Bank, and detained a Palestinian youth named Ghazi Abu Ali, which led to confrontation between Palestinian youths and the IOF.
The sources added that the IOF detained Qusai Jaradat from Al Silat al-Harithiya village, west of Jenin, ex-prisoner Ibrahim al-Raziq from Tayasir village, northeast of Tubas, Dia Ezrieqat from Taffuh town, west of Hebron, as well as ex-prisoner Abdul Hadi Abu Aisha from Hebron.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
