Gaza, ALRAY - A new batch of the families of the Gaza Strip’s prisoners headed on Monday at dawn to visit their children in Israeli jails via the Beit Hanoun/Erez crossing, north of the beleaguered Gaza Strip.

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reported that 26 citizens, including 7 children under the age of 16, departed the Gaza Strip to visit 15 prisoners in Ramon Israeli jail.

It is noteworthy that approximately 6000 Palestinian prisoners, including 350 prisoners from Gaza are incarcerated in the Israeli jails amid very difficult detention conditions. 206 Palestinian prisoners died in jails as a result of Israel’s deliberate policy of medical negligence.
