Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained at daybreak of Monday 22 Palestinian citizens during a large-scale campaign of raids across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF detained eight people from the town of Tekoa, south of Bethlehem. They were identified later as Yazan El Amour, Khalil Abu Mafrah, Zaki El Amour, Muhammad El Amour and his son Ahed, Fayez El Amour, Musa El Amour, and Ameen Jabreen.
The sources added that the IOF detained Kareem Barghouthi from Ramallah’s village of Deir Ghassana, and Dia Jarrara from Nablus’s town of Asira ash-Shamaliya, Bilal Abu Bakr from Ya'bad town, south of Jenin, as well as teen Ahmad Ekhlil, Yousef Alami, and Arad Adi from Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
