Occupied WB, ALRATY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out on Wednesday morning a large-scale campaign of raids to several houses across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF detained four Palestinian citizens from Bethlehem, after raiding on and ransacking their houses.
The sources pointed out that the IOF detained Bara Shakarnah, a resident of Nahalin village, while passing on an Israeli military checkpoint last night, adding that it detained also Magdy Taqatqa, Nassar Taqatqa, and Mustafa al-Mu’ti, after raiding on and ransacking their houses in Bethlehem as well.
As of Hebron, the IOF broke into a number of the city’s neighborhoods, and detained Abdulsalam Taha, Saif Abu Fanous, Assem El Tawaiha, as well as ransacked the house of ex-prisoner Ibrahim Shawahin, and destroyed its contents.
Also, the IOF broke into Jalazone refugee camp and Kafr Ni'ma town in Ramallah, and detained teen Hussain Zeid, Saif Abdo, Mohamed Eshtayeh, in addition to Ahmad Abdo.
Moreover, the IOF broke into the house of ex-prisoner Imad Taqatqa in Beit Fajjar town, and delivered a summons to boy Abdullah Dweik, from Jalazone refugee, to appear before Israeli intelligence.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
