ALRAY -- Israeli occupation government has quietly developed a public campaign aiming to encounter the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement that works to end international support for Israel.
In 2017, Israeli occupation passed a law allowing the state to bar entry to BDS supporters, under the pretext of "retaining its right to bar entry to those who wish to harm the country".
Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Gilad Arad said that he invites the public "to join in defending Israel against lies and incitement of the boycott movement," said that "everyone can take part in addressing the truth and working together to expose the hypocrisy and lies of the boycott activists and tell the truth about Israel."
As part of the campaign, Israeli public will be mobilized to address the activities of BDS and motivated to participate in efforts to "uncover the truth", especially on social networks.
The campaign will also be shown on news sites, social media and the Internet. The campaign is expected to be launched tonight with the opening of the GC4I Global Conference for Israel, organized by the Ministry of Strategic Affairs, with the participation of dozens of organizations supporting Israel from all over the world.
