Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out on Monday at daybreak a large-scale campaign of raids against a number of districts across the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Israeli sources claimed that the IOF detained, during the raids, seven Palestinians on suspicion of being wanted for participating in acts of resistance against illegal settlers.
Local sources reported that the IOF detained ex-prisoner Uday Alyan, and Muhamad Nakhla, son of prisoner in Israeli jails Bajis Nakhla, as well as Mutasim Sheikh Yusuf, while breaking into Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.
The sources then said that confrontations were erupted between Palestinian youths and the IOF that seized over a tractor during the raids.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
