Gaza, ALRAY - A new batch of the families of the Gaza Strip’s prisoners headed at dawn Monday to visit their children held in Israeli jails via Beit Hanoun/Erez crossing, north of the besieged Strip.

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reported that 22 members of the families of Gaza prisoners, including 4 children under 16, headed, in front of the committee’s headquarter, to visit 14 prisoners in the Israeli jail of Nafha.

It is noteworthy that approximately 6000 Palestinian prisoners, including 350 prisoners from Gaza are incarcerated in Israeli jails amid very difficult detention conditions. 206 Palestinian prisoners died in jails as a result of Israel’s deliberate policy of medical negligence.
