Gaza, ALRAY – The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas on Saturday called on Yemeni security services to open an investigation into the killing of Salim Ahmad Marouf on Friday morning.
In a press release, Hamas mourned the death of the 36-year-old Palestinian civilian, who has lived in Yemen for more than 15 years.
In turn, the family of Ma’rouf issued a statement, calling upon the Yemeni government to launch a serious investigation into his death and bring those responsible to account.
Salim had been living in Yemen for more than 14 years and had no enmity with any person or party, Salim’s family said.
It’s worth mentioning that Marouf was gunned down at a security checkpoint in Marib province early on Friday morning.
