Gaza, ALRAY - A new batch of the families of the Gaza Strip’s prisoners headed on Monday at dawn to visit their children in Israeli jails via the Beit Hanoun/Erez crossing, north of the beleaguered Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Prisoner Affairs in Gaza reported that 17 citizens, including two children under the age of 16, departed the Gaza Strip at dawn in front of the headquarter of the ICRC to visit 13 prisoners in Ramon Israeli jail.

It is noteworthy that approximately 6000 Palestinian prisoners, including 350 prisoners from Gaza are incarcerated in Israeli jails amid very difficult detention conditions. 206 Palestinian prisoners died in jails as a result of Israel’s deliberate policy of medical negligence
