Washington, ALRAY - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday he would likely wait until after Israel's Sept. 17 elections to release his peace plan to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, dubbed “Deal of the Century,” that was designed by Trump’s son-in-law and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner.

Trump added that some parts of the plan could be rolled out before the elections, saying “I probably will wait, but we may put out pieces of it.”

Trump went on to say that he halted the US financial assistance for the Palestinians to push them to reach an agreement with the Israelis.

In June, the economic part of the so-called Trump’s peace plan was announced and presented during a workshop led by Kushner in the Bahraini capital, Manama without the participation of Palestinians who totally rejected this claimed plan.
