Occupied West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) waged at daybreak of Monday a large-scale campaign of raids and arrests across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities and Jerusalem, during which the forces detained 19 Palestinians.
Israeli media claimed that the detainees are wanted by the IOF, adding that the forces took them to an unknown destination.
Local sources reported that the IOF detained ex-prisoner Thaer Halahleh, Ibrahim Sabarneh, Yahya Al Amour, Bahaa Arar, Hashem Rajoub, and Mohammed Shahin from the occupied West Bank city of Hebron
The sources added that the IOF detained youths Rashid Shteiwi and Abdul Rahman from the city of Qalqilya.
As of Bethlehem city, the IOF detained youths Muhannad Matahin, and Eid al-Harimi, while detained student at Birzeit University Qusi al-Masalma from the town of Sinjil, north of the city of Ramallah.
In addition, the forces broke into Budrus village, northwest of Ramallah, attacked citizens, and confiscated a sum of money.
From al-Issawiya, east of occupied Jerusalem, the IOF detained Mahmoud Mahmoud, Fady Attia, Ahmad Attia, Emad Abu Riyaleh, Saleh Dari, Mahmoud Muhaisen, and Muhammad Dari.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
