Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained on Sunday at daybreak four Palestinian citizens during multiple wide raids and arrests across the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
The IOF claimed in a statement that the detainees were detained on suspicion of being involved in resistance popular acts, adding that they were transferred to intelligence services for interrogation.
Local sources reported that the IOF detained last night 16-year-old teen Abdullah Sami Khreisheh, from the town of Jayyus eastern the occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya, while being near the Apartheid Wall west of the town.
In the same context, the IOF detained on Saturday a Birzeit University student named Samah Jaradat from her home located in the town of al-Bireh.
Locals in the area reported that the IOF raided on and ransacked the family house of Jaradat before detaining her, giving no reasons for her arrest.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
