Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained at daybreak of Monday 13 Palestinians, including three children, during wide raids and arrests across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF detained at least five citizens from the town of Silwad, east of the city of Ramallah.
The sources said that the detainees were identified as Musa Najjar, Noman Hamed, Muhammad Lotfi Hamed, Sheikh Khalil Hamed, and Muhammad Yasser Hamed.
The sources added that the IOF detained three children during confrontations that erupted in the Beit Reema town, northwest of Ramallah.
In addition, the sources continued, the IOF detained youth Mahmoud al-Shurti from Al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya town, northeast of the city of Ramallah.
As of occupied Jerusalem, the IOF detained two people, named as Ameen Hamed and Muhammad Obeid from the neighborhood of Al-Issawiya, northeast of the city.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
