Gaza, ALRAY - Israeli occupation authorities imposed on Sunday morning an overall security cordon on the occupied West Bank, and shut down the crossings into the blockaded Gaza Strip, using Jewish holidays as a pretext.
Public Administration of the Karem Abu Salem crossing said that the crossing will be fully closed by the IOA on Sunday and Monday, allegedly for celebrating Jewish holidays.
Karem Abu-Salem is the only operating commercial crossing through which the Israeli occupation drops few amounts of the needed commodities to Gaza residents.
In addition, the administration of the Erez crossing said that the crossing will be opened exceptionally on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for just departees with special needs.
