Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - Leader of Israeli occupation police issued a decision to evacuate the eastern part of area of Arrahmah gate of Al-Aqsa mosque.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation police has started evacuating the Jerusalemite prayers from the area since early morning hours.

Last Thursday, Israeli police forces raided Arrahmah prayer area and seized the wood wooden partitions.

A state of tension has involved occupied Jerusalem since las February, after Jerusalemite prayers were able to access to Arrahma gate that had been closed since 2003 under an Israeli order under the pretext of illegal institutions.

Palestinians fear that Israeli measures in Arrahma area would be the first steps to impose the spatial segregation within the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to allocate the area as a place for Jewish settlers to pray inside the mosque, as happened in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, which was divided between Muslims and Jewish settlers.
