Ramallah, An Israeli occupation court has sentenced Palestinian detainee Amjad Muhammad Jabarin, from the city of Umm al-Fahm, to 16 years of imprisonment and a 500,000 shekel ($142,760) fine.

The 37-year-old Jabarin was indicted by the court of aiding the three Palestinians who carried out a shooting attack against Israeli soldiers in al-Aqsa Mosque Compound in 2017.

Jabarin’s indictment alleged that he transported the three men, who carried out the shooting attack, to Jerusalem and spoke with them about their intentions to carry out the attack.

It’s noteworthy to mention that Amjad Jabarin was detained on July 23, 2017 nine days after the shootout attack that left two IOF soldiers and three Palestinians killed in the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque Compound.
