Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - Israel's Housing Cabinet approved Jerusalem Old City Cable Car Plan that connected Mount of Olives with the Buraq Wall in Al Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, Haaretz paper reported Tuesday.
The paper said that the plan crosses Al-Jaras garden adjacent to the Talbiya neighborhood, and a location in the village of Silwan, the settlement association of Elad plans to build a large center for visitors, in addition to another station that located in the Mount of Olives.
According to the Israeli Housing Cabinet the cable car plan can carry 3.000 travelers per hour in the two directions. It also takes about four and a half minutes to travel in vehicles that can accommodate 10 passengers.
Israeli occupation authorities accelerated the Judaism plan in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, as a part of its goal to erase the Arabic and Islamic identity of occupied Jerusalem.
