Prisoners in Etzion return meals protesting their arrest conditions

West Bank, ALRAY - Palestinian prisoners in Etzion prison started a week a go returning the meals, in protest against the poor conditions in which they are being held, commission of detainees and ex-detainees' affairs reported.

Prisoners in Etzion suffer from appalling conditions, with extreme cold, lack of heating and winter clothing, long days of deprivation from bathing due to hot water cuts, poor quality and quantity of food, and neglect of their health without any treatment.

The commission stated that the prisoners began a week ago to return dinner and lunch and eat only a little of their bad breakfast to feed them.

The detention center of Ezion is one of the worst centers of the occupation in which they subjected to abuse and repression during the arrest and interrogation, in a clear violation of all international laws and the principles of respect for human dignity.
