Occupied West Bank, ALRAY – About 827 housing units have been built in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank since the start of 2019 according to a report published by Israel Hayom newspaper on Monday.


The newspaper added that there is a decline in the number of housing units built inside Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.


According to the newspaper, data refers to a reduction in the building of housing units in the second half of 2019, indicating that 827 units have just been built since the start of 2019, compared to 2227 units which were built during 2018.


It pointed out that over 19000 new housing units were built during the past decade, noting that 2016 was the most year that witnessed construction of housing units up to 3211, while 1697 units were built in 2017.
