Occupied Palestine, ALRAY - Israeli prison services issued a decision banning Palestinian security detainees from taking commemorative photos with their families during visits.
Hebrew channel 7 reported that the IPS issued the decision after publishing a photo for the detainee Omar al-Abed, who is accused of killing three settlers in the settlement of "Halmish", a photo for him with his mother or during a visit to the prison recently.
IPS kneed to the Israeli organization "IM Terrazzo" which called for banning Palestinian detainees from taking photos following the publishing of al-Abed photos which provoked the feelings of settlers.
The Israeli Prisons Service updated the photo orders in the prison. The order was restricted to taking pictures with relatives suffering from chronic and serious diseases.
