Hebron, ALRAY - A group of Israeli settlers escorted by Israeli occupation forces attacked Sunday Palestinian houses in Jaber neighborhood near the settlement of Kiryat Arba that built on the lands and properties of Palestinian citizens, east of the city of Hebron, in the south of the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that dozens of Israeli settlers attacked a number of Palestinian houses in Jaber neighborhood, of them are Aref and Suzan Jaber house. Settlers threw stones and bottles at Palestinian houses, chanted racist and abusive insults and threatened to kill defenseless citizens, which caused a state of fear and panic among the Palestinians of the targeted homes, especially children.
The residents of these homes called on international community and human rights organizations for immediate action to stop what they called settler terrorism, supported by the occupation authorities, who provides them with protection.
Article 49 of the 4th Geneva Convention states that the occupying state is forbidden to transfer its own population onto the land it occupies, therefore, under international law, all Israeli settlements are illegal.
