Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained on Monday morning a number of Palestinians during raids campaign across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF detained four citizens in raids on towns, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
The sources added that a large military force broke into Abu Shukheidim village, and detained a Birzeit university student Laith al-Sharif, after raiding on the house of his family and ransacking it.
The sources added that the IOF also detained Amir Abu Zaher and Muhammad Abu Shukheidim, after raiding on their houses, ransacking them, and interrogating them.
In the same context, the IOF forces broke into al-Jalazoun refugee camp and detained youth Muhammad Sabri from the house of his family and took him to an unknown destiny.
In Bethlehem, the IOF forces broke into the city’s Beit Fajjar town and detained teens Amir Taqatqa and Abdullah Abdulla, after raiding on their families’ houses.
In addition, the IOF forces detained citizen Ahmad al-Sheikh from Marah Rabah town to the south of Bethlehem.
As of the city of Hebron, the IOF broke into Dura town, southwest of the city, and detained ex-prisoner Anas Shadeed, after storming his house.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
