Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) on Sunday handed over a decision to the Head of the Supreme Islamic Commission in Jerusalem, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, banning him from entering Al Aqsa mosque for a week, which could be renewed.
“The IOA told me not to enter the al-Aqsa Mosque until January 25 of the current year,” said Sheikh Sabri in a statement following his deportation.
The IOA accused Sheikh Sabri of inciting terror in Friday prayer sermons and subjecting people to life-threatening conditions.
Sheikh Sabri added that the IOA broke into his house on Sunday morning and handed him over a summon to appear for investigation before them.
He, also the preacher of the al-Aqsa Mosque, has been subjected to multiple deportations, over 10 times, from the al-Aqsa Mosque for different periods.
