Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out on Monday at dawn a wide-scale campaign of raids on multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities, during which the forces detained 17 people.
Local sources reported that the IOF broke into Barta'a town, west of the city of Jenin, and detained nine citizens.
The sources named the detainees as Munir Alaqima, Muhammad Alaqima, Burhan Qubaha, Mustafa Qubaha, Muhammad Abdel Nour Qubaha, Muntaser Qubaha, Muhammad Ibrahim Qubaha, Ayman Qubaha, Yousuf Qubaha.
Also, the IOF detained Ibrahim al-Amer from the Jenin refugee camp, and detained Nidal Nefaat and Ayyub Nefaat from Ya'bad town, southwest of the city of Jenin.
As of Hebron, the IOF forces detained ex-prisoner Mahmoud al-Fasfous from Dura town, southwest of Hebron, and Yazan Tilakh from the Fawwar refugee camp, southwest of the city.
Moreover, the IOF forces detained Ahmad al-Tarifi from the town of Ein Yabrud, northeast of the city of Ramallah, and Mutasim Abu Alia from al-Mughayyir village, northeast of the city of Ramallah as well, while detained Akram Abu Sorour from the city of Bethlehem.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
