Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained on Monday at dawn 26 Palestinian citizens during a wide-scale campaign of raids across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities and Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the IOF broke into al-Issawiya neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem and detained 15 citizens.
The sources added that the citizens were named later as Ali Muhammad Obeid, Muhanad Mahmoud, Bashar Mahmoud, Mansour Nasser, Fayez Muhaisen, Muhammad Derbas, Muhammad Adnan Obeid, Ali Abu Ryala, Wisam Obeid, Rashad Abu Ryala, Jihad Abu Bader, Yousef al-Kiswani, teen Muhammad al-Jayyar, Basil Odeh, and Basil Derbas.
Also, the IOF broke into the town of Beitin, east of the city of Ramallah, and detained three teens identified as Muhanad Jaber, Muhammad al-Khateeb, and Abdul Rahman Jaber.
In addition, the IOF detained two ex-prisoners named as Khalil Shawka, and Abdallah al-Harimi, whereas detained youth Mustafa Abu Rab from the town of Qabatiya, south of the city of Jenin.
Moreover, the IOF broke into al-Fari'ah refugee camp near Tubas and detained youths Fares al-Tayeh and Oday al-Tayeh, as well as broke into Aqabat Jaber refugee camp and detained Nael Abu Asal, while detained daughter of citizen Muhammad Abu Zuhra from Yatta town, south of Hebron, and youth Muhammad al-Atrash from Kafr Ra'I town, southwest of the city of Jenin.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
