Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out on Wednesday morning a wide-scale campaign of raids across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities, during which the forces detained several Palestinians.
Local sources reported that the IOF forces detained Omar al-Far and Omar Obeid from the city of Ramallah as well as detained Firas al-Tamimi, father of martyr Mosab al-Tamimi, after breaking into his house in Deir Nidham village, northwest of the city.
In the city of Bethlehem, the IOF detained 34-year-old Shadi Hassasneh, after raiding on his house and ransacking it in the area of al-Karkafa.
In addition, the IOF raided on the house of Yassin Abu Sorour and on the house of ex-prisoner Mustafa Qneiss in the Aida refugee camp and ransacked them.
As of occupied Jerusalem, the IOF detained Saed al-Hattawi and his two sons Zuhair and Yazan, after breaking into his house in al-Ram town and destroying its contents.
Moreover, the IOF detained Fadi al-Khateeb, Isa al-Khateeb, Muhammad al-Khateeb, Mahmoud al-Khateeb, Ahmad al-Khateeb, and Muhammad al-Khateeb from the town of Hizma, east of the occupied Jerusalem.
As of Nablus, the IOF detained Jum’a Ramadan, after raiding on his house and destroying its content in Zeita Jamma'in town to the southwest of Nablus.
In Hebron, the IOF raided on several houses in the towns of al-Burj and Sa’ir and ransacked them.
Also, the IOF stormed today, Wednesday, a blacksmith workshop in Hebron, seized over its lathing machines, and destroyed its contents.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
