Ramallah, ALRAY - Prisoners and Ex-prisoners Affairs Authority stated that the date for the release of the female prisoner, Suhair Salimiya, 37, from Hebron is excepted to be today.
In a statement, the Prisoners Affairs stated that the Israeli occupation authorities would release the prisoner Suhair from Jalameh crossing.
Prisoners affairs pointed out that Suhair had been arrested after she was shot by the occupation army last October at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, and ambulance crews and Ibrahimi sanctuary guards were prevented from reaching her for a long time before transferring her to the "Tshar Tsaydk" hospital.".
During her detention she was suffering from severe pain as a result of her injury, as one of the bullets settled in her shoulder in addition to the presence of shrapnel in the place of the injury, and she had difficulty moving her hand.
She also complained of severe stomach pains that caused vomiting continuously, and she was provided only with painkillers, knowing that she was subjected to a medical negligence during her treatment period.
Sohair was transferred from the hospital to "Ramla prison clinic" before she recovered, which led to the deterioration of her healthy condition.
It is worth noting that after the release of Sohair, 42 prisoners remain in difficult conditions inside the Israeli jails
