Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday morning carried out a wide-scale campaign of raids and detentions across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF detained six ex-prisoners from the city of Qalqilya. They were identified as Muhammad Shreim, Abdul Rahman and Abdul Haq Khadraj, Zaki Dawood, Jamal Dawood, and Hosni Al-Nis.
In the city of Ramallah, the IOF detained five citizens named as Ezz Shabana, Mahdi Karaja, Basil Barghouti, Malek Hammad, and Shadi Injas.
Locals in Jenin city reported also that the IOF detained ex-prisoner Imad Al-Abadi, Omar Imad Al-Abadi, and Yazid Abu Abed from the town of Ya’bad, south of the city.
As of Heron, the IOF detained five citizens named as Muayyad Al-Wahwah, ex-prisoner Uday Zaqeeq, Qusai Abu Marya, Haytham and Abdullah Asafra.
In addition, the IOF detained ex-prisoner Ibrahim Suma from the city of Bethlehem, while detained Iyad Sadaqa from Nablus.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
