Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested last night and at dawn Monday 17 Palestinians during multiple raids across different parts of the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
The IOF said in a statement that most of the detainees were on the wanted list of the Shin Bet security agency, and they were taken to an unknown interrogation center.
Local sources said that the IOF broke into the occupied West Bank city of Nablus and detained Zaid Al-Kharaz, Mohammed Qat, Obadah Qat, and the ex-prisoner Hamed al-Betawi.
The sources also added that the IOF detained Thaer al-Sulaybi, and Mokhtar Awad after raiding their family homes in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron.
In occupied Jerusalem, the IOF detained 6 citizens named Mohammed alkhatib, Abdullah Abed Rabbo Al-Khatib, Ahed Askar, Ahmad AL khateeb, Abdullah Ahmad AL khateeb, and Hassan Abulraish.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
