Gaza, ALRAY – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained 483 Palestinians, including 125 children, eight women and four journalists last October, human rights groups and prisoners institutions said in a report.
The institutions (Prisoners’ society, Prisoners commission, Al-Dameer for Human Rights, Al-Mezan Center) pointed out in a common statement that Israeli authorities detained 147 Palestinians from Jerusalem.
The IOF arrested 80 Palestinians in Hebron, 20 in Nablus, 52 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, 28 in Qalqlia, 82 in Jenin and 32 in Bethlehem.
In Tubas, the IOF detained 15 Palestinians, seven in Silfeet, 15 in Tulkarem, eight in Jericho and seven in the Gaza Strip.
In the context of continuing the administrative policy, Israeli authorities issued 86 administrative orders, including 35 new orders.
6300 Palestinian prisoners, including 59 women – of them 11 minor girls-, 250 children, where the number of administrative detainees reached 450, according to the report.
