Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Wednesday, at dawn, eight Palestinian citizens in multiple raids on different districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local resources reported that the IOF broke into the Hebron town of Yatta, ransacked a number of Palestinian houses, claimed seizing over a rifle, held a woman for a few hours and arrested Ashraf Nassar, and Rasmi al-Adra.
Locals in the West Bank city of Bethlehem added that the IOF arrested ward Alsaify from Dheisheh refugee camp, south of the city, which led to erupting confrontations between the Palestinian youths and the IOF.
As of Jenin, the IOF broke into the city and arrested Mahmoud Qubaha, as it arrested Basil Abed from the Shuafat refugee camp of occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
