Experts and observers within the occupied city have issued stern warnings regarding the increased militarization of the Israeli occupation forces within Jerusalem, as well as the transformation of the Old City and its vicinity, particularly in the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, into a military garrison. This alarming development comes just days before anticipated widespread incursions by settlers into the area.
Jamal Amro, a leading expert on Jerusalem affairs, has issued a stark warning regarding the significant escalation in security measures and military actions surrounding the Al-Aqsa Mosque, signaling a grave threat to the holy site. Amro emphasized the urgent need for mobilization within the sacred city and around the Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront the impending incursions and assaults on the revered sanctuary, which are expected to extend over a period of 20 days.
