West Bank, ALRAY - In a recent development, Israeli authorities have issued a decision to expel the Jerusalemite activist Khadija Khweis from the West Bank for a period of six months, allowing her access only to her home.

This decision comes after a previous six-month travel ban imposed on Khweis and her earlier six-month ban from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Khadija Khweis, a former Palestinian detainee, has been subjected to multiple arrests, expulsions from the West Bank, and denials of access to Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem. She has also faced travel restrictions on numerous occasions.

Israeli occupation forces have arrested Khadija Khweis over 30 times, and she has been prohibited from traveling for more than four years, all based on vague allegations. Additionally, she has been deprived of healthcare coverage for over three years.

It is worth noting that Israeli authorities frequently target activists, protesters, and prominent individuals in Jerusalem, arresting them and imposing travel restrictions, particularly during Jewish holidays.
