West Bank, ALRAY - Palestinian prisoner Akram al-Fsissi, from Ethna village west of al-Khalil, has continued his hunger strike for 36 days in a row protesting his administrative detention.

Al-Fsissi, 30, began his strike since last September when he was in Ofer prison. He was then transferred to Ramle prison in October where he has continued his strike protesting his administrative detention.

He was an ex-prisoner and released after serving a year and a half in Israel jails.

Ahrar Center director Fouad al-Khuffash said Al-Fsissi's health deterite seriously as he refrains from eating food for a long time.

Ofer prison services transferred him to Afula hospital before few days.

Khuffash called the concerned bodies to visit him and make efforts to stop Israel policy of administrative detention against many Palestinian prisoners.

Israel authorities banned Al-Fsissi's family from visiting him and they expressed their worry about his fate.
