Gaza, ALRAY - Limited Israeli military force penetrated on Thursday morning to several meters east of Khusza’a town east of Khan Younis at the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that four Israeli bulldozers and three Merkava tanks gathered at Abu Reda gate on the boarders of Khuza’a east of Khan Younis.
The sources added that the Israeli forces removed cement blocks existed on the entrance of the gate before proceeding in sweeping the farming lands.
Farming in the Gaza Strip’s “buffer zone” is hazardous under the best circumstances. Israeli forces routinely shoot live ammunition at Palestinian farmers in the free-fire area, which stretches hundreds of meters into the besieged territory from the barrier separating it and Israel, and invade their fields with tanks and bulldozers.
