Palestinian prisoners continue hunger strike for 22 days

Ramallah, ALRAY – About 1700 Palestinian prisoners continue the open-ended hunger strike for the 22nd day in a row, while suffering serious health conditions and a number of them moved to Ramleh clinic prison.

The Israeli prison service (IPS) have isolated prisoners in solitary confinement cells and prevented their families of visits.

The national committee to assist prisoners’ hunger strike called on all Palestinian people in all spectrums to head to the sit-in tents to protest in front of Red Cross according the support program for prisoners.

The popular solidarity events in West Bank, Gaza Strip and 1948 territories continue to support the prisoners in Israeli jails, while diplomatic efforts are underway to put pressure in Israel to respond for Palestinian prisoners’ suffering and put an end to their suffering in Israeli jails.
