IOF transfers Abu Tair to administrative detention

Jerusalemite MP Mohammed Abu Tair (65)

Ramallah, ALRAY – The Israeli military Ofer Court issued a decision to transfer the Jerusalemite MP Mohammed Abu Tair (65) to administrative detention for six months.

The IOF re-arrested Abu Tair in 4th August 2017 after releasing him two months ago; as he spent 17 months in prison and released in May.

Abu Tair was deported from Jerusalem since 2010 after withdrawing his ID, in addition to, the MPs, Ahmed Atwan and Mohammed Totah, and the former minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Khaled Abu-Arafa, according to a decision issued by the Israeli Interior Minister under the pretext of "disloyalty to Israel."

The MP, Abu Tair, spent more than 32 years in the Israeli prisons at intervals
