WB, ALRAY – The Israel occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Tuesday 11 citizens from different parts of the west Bank.

According a statement by the IOF, most of the detainees are wanted by the security apparatus, and so they were transferred to the Shin Bet for investigation.

Local sources reported that the IOF stormed many neighborhoods in Hebron and arrested six citizens: Adulhaleem Qafesha, 16, Saleh Aumreekha, Alaa Ziadat, Issa Adi, 28, Muaath Khalil, 21, and Fawzi Awad, 20.

In Jerusalem, the IOF arrested Amjad Alshweiki, 19, after storming his home that is located south of Alaqsa Mosque and transferred him to the police for investigation.

Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
