Gaza, ALRAY - Hamas spokesperson Husam Badran said that Israel’s arrest of Northern Islamic movement leader Sheikh Raed Salah refers to its persistence racist policies and is a fight against national and Islamic leaders in the pre-1948 occupied Palestinian territories.

Badran stressed that the arrest of Sheikh Rader Salah brutally by the Israeli occupation is a bid to impose new predatory policies against Palestinians in the pre-1948 occupied Palestine.

He added that the Israeli occupation’s charges to Sheikh Raed Salah are dull and ultimately aim to deter and restrain any activities which could unmask the Israeli racist policies.

The spokesperson pointed out that the arrest of Sheikh Raed Salah has been planned for a long time, which was preceded by a systematic campaign of incitement by the racist Israeli occupation.

Badran warned of the consequences of targeting and harming Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound, after the renewal of the Israeli occupation ban on Sheikh Kamal al-Khatib, deputy head of the Northern Islamic movement, from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound.
