Gaza, ALRAY - The Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs and ex-Prisoners emphasized that prisoners in the Israeli jail of Ramon have been subjecting to an ongoing and vehement onslaught by the Israeli repressive forces of the prisons’ administration through their intensified and almost daily breaking into the prison's rooms and sections.

The ministry stated that since early Tuesday morning, the prison has been experiencing severe tensions after the Israeli repressive forces of the prison’s administration had broken into section 2, and transferred prisoners of the section 1 as part of the ferocious campaign waged by the repressive forces in the recent days.

The ministry pointed out that the breakings by the repressive forces into the prison rooms and sections as well as torturing and abusing prisoners have become a constant and routine policy that repressive forces practiced within a plan aims at targeting prisoners, where they use pepper spray, tear gas, police dogs and other repressive forms in prison against prisoners.

It indicated that the policy of transferring prisoners, emptying the different sections of them, and ransacking their contents in a brutal way has continuously been carried out by the repressive forces, and it reflects the hostile approach of the prisons’ administration that aims at embittering the prisoners’ lives inside the prison.

The ministry noted that also the inspection operations practiced against the prisoners affect the prisoners’ lives healthily and psychologically.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli repressive forces of the prisons’ administration intensified their breakings into rooms and sections of the prisoners in recent days, where more than 100 of the repressive forces’ breakings into, have been monitored since the start of 2017, which is a significant average if compared to the previous years.
