Jerusalem, ALRAY - Israeli occupation foreign ministry objected imposing sanctions on the Al Jazeera television network as it” would damage Israel’s image overseas”. 

Despite the ministry's warning that moves against the network would clump Israel with countries like Cuba, Venezuela and Turkey, the Israeli government moves to revoke journalist's credentials 
Senior Israeli officials at the ministry said to the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu that imposing sanctions on Al Jazeera will harm Israel’ image internationally and will appear as “an anti- democracy state”. 

Israel plans to revoke media credentials of Al Jazeera journalists and close the network's office in Jerusalem, the country's communication minister has announced.

Ayoub Kara, Israeli communication minster announced earlier this month that Israel to revoke media credentials of Al Jazeera journalists and close the network's office in Jerusalem. 

He said that the channel is being used by groups to "incite" violence - an accusation the network has denied.
