Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested, on Thursday morning, four Palestinians during incursion into the villages of Silwan and Umm Tuba in the occupied Jerusalem.

The head of the committee of the families of the prisoners of occupied Jerusalem Amjad Abu Assab that the IOF arrested Uday Abu Tayeh ,19, and Mohammed Abu Hammam,19 after storming their homes in the town of Silwan.

They also arrested Abdel-Rahim al-Abbasi, 33, from his workplace in the al-Malha area. And Ahmed Abu Tair, 24, who was arrested from his home in Umm Tuba.

It is expected that these detainees will be presented on Thursday to the Israeli "Magistrates Court" to consider extending their detention.

Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
