Gaza, ALRAY - A new patch of Gaza Strip prisoners’ families headed at dawn Monday to visit their sons in Israeli jails through the Beit Hanoun/Erez crossing, north of the beleaguered Gaza Strip.

Suhair Zakout, spokeswoman for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Gaza, reported that 20 families of the Gaza Strip prisoners, including 13 children under the age of 13, headed to visit their sons in the Israeli jail of Ramon.

It is noteworthy that approximately 6000 Palestinian prisoners, including 350 prisoners from Gaza, are incarcerated in the Israeli jails amid very difficult detention conditions.
