Occupied WB, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Monday at dawn 16 Palestinians during multiple raids on different districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF arrested four Palestinians in raid to the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarem as well as it handed over summons to some youths review the Israeli intelligence.
The sources named the arrested as the ex-prisoner Iyad al-Jarad, Amir Abu Safaqa, Muhammad Abu Safaqa and Sohaib Abu Safiya.
As of Bethlehem, the IOF broke into different districts of the city and arrested four Palestinians identified as Mu'ayyed al-Qaisi,18, Samer al-Qaisi ,19, Zaid al-Badan ,24, and Abdul Rahman Shuaibat ,28, after raiding and ransacking their families’ homes.
Meanwhile, in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, the IOF raided Adel Halayiqa’s home and arrested his wife and her brother Abdel Rabah El Mashni.
The IOF also confiscated tens of thousands of shekels from the Hebron village of al-Shuyukh on suspicion of using them for funding terrorist activities.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
