Gaza, ALRAY- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested 4034 children since the outbreak of Jerusalem Intifada in October 2015, the Unit for Studies and Documentation at the Commission of detainees and ex-detainees affairs reported.
The unit confirmed that about 1150 arrests cases have been registered since the beginning of this year, and about 300 children remain in prisons and detention camps, including 11 girls.
A statement of the unit added that the IOF did not exclude children from his arrests and put them in the targeted area and treated them as resistance projects and "time bombs" postponed of explosion.
The unit also added that all international conventions made the detention of children as a last haven.
The unit pointed out that all statistical data, field facts and live testimonies confirm that the targeting of Palestinian children falls within the framework of a systematic Israeli policy aimed at distorting the future of Palestinian childhood.
