Gaza, ALRAY - Diplomatic adviser to the President of Palestinian Authority Majdi Khalidi said Sunday that there are pressure practiced on the US President Donald Trump to issue a decision to move the Embassy of Washington to occupied Jerusalem.

Khalidi explained that the president of PA contacted with a number of Arab leaders warning them of the dangerous impacts of this step. He added that the US step is contradicts with the international law and threatens the peace process. 

The PA called for holding an urgent Islamic to discuss the matter and address it, noting that there is a real fear of the issuance of the decision. 

Hamas movement has warned of the impacts of the US president decision to move the US embassy to occupied Jerusalem. 

Hamas movement explained in a press release the US decision is considered a blatant violation of the sanctity of the holy city, giving the Israeli occupation the legitimacy to Jerusalem. 

It added that the decision contradicts with the international law, since Jerusalem is an occupied city. US movement gives Israel the right to Judaize the the city and expelling its Palestinian residents from it.
